Today you must finalize all details for your group project next week. Do whatever is necessary in your community day to finish your planning. Don’t forget that you can do this project ANY DAY between NOW and WEEK 7’s Community Day (2 week window). It doesn’t have to be done on Wednesday. Just be sure and make the service day your community day. Don’t do both.
Plan ahead to grab dinner next week after you serve together. Do something fun. Include the Kiddos. You’ll have time to process everything next week… so just relax.
Important Side Note: On pg. 112 you were asked to discuss what you found while researching needs in your community as a part of your “Action Day” this week. While this is important, don’t let that sidetrack you or make you second guess your planned your project. You’ll have plenty of time in the coming weeks to engage those needs more intentionally. This weeks’ goal is to simply Expose the needs. Next week we’ll Experience need (any kind) through the group project. The following week we’ll learn how to Engage them more deeply.
